Mix the curd, semolina, salt and egg yolks in a mixing bowl.
Carefully add the beaten egg whites to the mixture.
Leave it to rest in a cool place for 1-2 hours.
Heat a little bit of oil in a pan on low heat, add the breadcrumbs and stirring frequently leave it until golden.
Fill a large pot with water. Add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of oil. Bring it to the boil and add as many dumplings as can fit in one layer. Once the dumplings come up, lower the heat slightly and let them cook for 6-8 mins.
When cooked, add them to the pan with the breadcrumbs and give it a little shake to coat the dumplings evenly.
Serve it with sour cream or crème fraîche and sprinkle with icing sugar to taste.
