Heat up the oil in a pan, then sauté the diced onions. Add chopped garlic and cook it for 1 minute.

Then add the minced meat and cook while stirring continuously.

Add salt, ground chilli, caraway, red pepper and stir for 2 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes and tomato paste, cook for a couple of minutes.

Add half a cup of water, a cup of beer and cook for 20 minutes. Then add another half cup of water and another cup of beer and cook for 30 more minutes.

When the juices have evaporated, add the cornmeal.

Place the flour tortillas on a plate, add some of the meat, followed by jalapeño paprikas and grated cheese.
