Using a sharp knife carve out petal shapes from the apple.
Tip: Using a toothpick mark the place and the size of the petals in order to have a symmetrical flower.
Cut the apple in half below the petals.
Carve the top half further to form the petals as shown in the picture.
Then carefully carve out the bottom half as well.
Tip: To prevent browning brush the apple with lemon juice.
The only thing left to do is to arrange a selection of fruits in your apple cup.
Skewer the top of the apple and stick it into the middle of the bowl.
