Log cake recipe: Preparing the Log cake is simple! First, whip egg whites with sugar until foamy.
Combine with yolks.
Carefully add flour and cocoa powder.
Spread the mixture in a pan lined with parchment.
Bake at 390 degrees F for 10 minutes.
Make custard from milk, sugar, custard powder until thick for the cream.
Mix margarine with powdered sugar.
Add to the cooled down custard.
Roll the dough up in a warm place.
Fill with ⅔ part of the cream and roll it up.
Cut a piece from the roll to make the side of the log and cover with the rest of the cream, score with a cake brush.
