Cream Puff Swans recipe: Preparing the Cream Puff Swans is easy! First, combine margarine, water, sugar and salt and bring to a boil.
Add flour and sauté until it comes off easily from the side of the pot.
Remove from heat and stir in eggs one by one.
(Tip: The amount of eggs required varies based on the size of the eggs and the quality of the flour. It is supposed to be like noodles.)
Spread the mixture in a star-tipped piping bag and make heaps.
For the neck of the swans: make hooks with a regular piping bag.
Bake the batter in two stages. First at 390 degrees F for 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
(Tip:It is forbidden to open the oven door in the first stage, it will ruin the dough.)
Beat egg whites and sugar for the yellow cream.
Make the custard and add the beaten whites while still hot.
Fill the bottom of the cream puffs with the yellow cream.
Add whipped cream on top of the yellow cream.
Cut the puffs in half and add on top of the whipped cream.
Add in the necks and decorate with faces before serving.
