Firstly, mix together the flour, sugar and poppyseeds. Add the baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of cinnamon.
Mix in the eggs, the melted butter and the sour cream. Make sure to combine everything well.
Finally, incorporate the milk, sultanas and the grated apples.
Pour the batter into a cake pan already lined with baking paper. Bake for 25 minutes at 355°F.
Take it out of the oven and spread the sour cream on top of it, while it’s still hot. Then pop it back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
Let it cool for a while, then you can slice it up and serve it!
