Start off by making your sponge. Beat up the egg yolks with the powdered sugar, until light and fluffy. Then add the flour to it and mix well. Whip up your egg whites and fold them into the mixture. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper, then pop it into the oven for 25-30 minutes at 355°F.
Move onto the orange cream layer. Cook your pudding, but instead of using milk, use orange juice to dissolve the pudding powder in!
While the orange pudding is still warm, pour it onto your sponge. Line the top of your pudding with butter cookies.
Next comes the white cream. Start warming up some of the milk in a pot. To the remaining milk, add the flour and the powdered sugar, whisking everything together until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated. Then pour the mixture into the milk which has been on the heat. Allow the mixture to thicken then take it off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Blend it together with butter to create a cream out of it.
Spread the cream on top of the biscuits and let it rest overnight.
Coat it in melted dark chocolate the next day and you’re ready to slice it up and serve!
