Ingredients

Dough:
1 lb flour
7 ½ oz margarine
5 oz sugar
2 eggs
1 small cup of sour cream
½ packet of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Milk
Filling:
3 lb grated apples
Sugar (to taste)
Cinnamon (to taste)
Bread crumbs
Egg yolk

Steps

Step 1
Apple pie recipe: Preparing the Apple pie is simple! First, combine the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Step 2
Knead it together with softened margarine.
Step 3
Mix in the sour cream and egg yolks.
Step 4
Grate 3 pounds of apples, season with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
Step 5
Flatten half the dough, put in a buttered pan. Then poke it with a fork and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Squeeze out the apples and spread them over the dough.
Step 7
Flatten the rest of the dough and put on the apple layer. Poke holes on the upper layer as well and brush with eggs.
Step 8
Bake at 390 degrees F for 25 minutes.
