RECIPE

Ingredients

2 packs of butter cookies
Cherry filling
2 lbs of preserved cherries (pureed)
7 oz granulated sugar
7 oz semolina
4 cups juice of preserved cherries
Vanilla filling
2 cups of milk
2 oz vanilla custard powder
½ oz vanilla sugar
7 oz butter/ margarine
Cream layer
1 cup of cream
5 oz plain yogurt
⅓ oz gelatin stabilizer

Steps

Step 1
Have all your ingredients ready and let’s begin! First, place butter biscuits in a 15×10 inch pan.
Step 2
For the cherry layer, combine 4 cups of the preserved juice with sugar, thicken with semolina.
Step 3
Add pureed cherries.
Step 4
Spread on cookies and leave to stiffen.
Step 5
Combine milk with vanilla sugar and custard powder, bring to a boil.
Step 6
When the custard is ready, cream with butter/margarine.
Step 7
Spread on the cherry layer.
Step 8
Combine yogurt with gelatin stabilizer for the cream layer.
Step 9
Add to the whipped cream.
Step 10
Spread on the custard layer and leave to stiffen.
Step 11
Decorate.
