Hungarian Kovaszos Uborka (Sour Pickles) recipe: Preparing Hungarian Kovaszos Uborka (Sour Pickles) is simple! First, wash the cucumbers with a kitchen sponge. Cut off both sides of the cucumbers and cut holes in the sides.
Wash a jar and put half the dill at the bottom.
Then put a slice of sourdough bread on it.
Try placing the cucumbers evenly in the jar, it depends on the size of the cucumbers. Add salt.
Add as much water as necessary to cover the cucumbers.
Put the rest of the dill on top of the cucumbers.
Finally, add the other slice of sourdough bread.
Put in a warm place, it will boil in 2-3 days, then leave it there for another 2-3 days. Put on a plate, and put a plate on top, because it will run out. It also prevents contamination.
