Mix together the dry ingredients.
Add the butter and the egg to the dry ingredients and mix well until you have a ball of dough.
Cut it into half and roll out both balls of dough into the size of your baking pan. Bake both sheets for 10 minutes at 355°F.
For the cream, firstly make the vanilla pudding. After it has cooled, mix in the butter and sugar to create that creamy and smooth texture.
After the cakes are done, it’s time to layer your cake. Smooth half of the cream onto the bottom cake.
Place the second cake layer on top of it, then spoon the other half of the cream on top of it. Line the top of the cake with your Genoise sponge cakes.
Serve it in slices after pouring melted dark chocolate on top.
