Christmas Light Cupcake

Ingredients

Cupcake:
5 1/5 oz flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
5 1/5 oz sugar
1 3/4 oz cocoa powder
2 eggs
5 1/5 oz butter
3 tbsp apricot jam
1 3/4 oz dark chocolate
Decoration:
Vanilla buttercream
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
3 oz soft butter
3 tbsp milk
15 4/5 oz powdered sugar
Black icing
M&M's

Steps

Step 1
Christmas Light Cupcake recipe: Preparing Christmas Light Cupcake is easy! Combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder in a larger bowl.
Step 2
Add the eggs to the mixture one by one and mix them together.
Step 3
Add the butter and apricot jam, and mix them well.
Step 4
Break the chocolate into small bits and mix them into the dough.
Step 5
Line the cupcake baking pan with cupcake papers and fill them with the dough.
Step 6
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350°F in a preheated oven, then let the cupcakes cool.
Step 7
Combine the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract and butter in a bowl, then pour the mixture in a piping bag that has a large round tip.
Step 8
Pipe cream on top of the cupcakes, then draw thin spiral lines on the cream with black icing. Stick M&M’s along the line so that they look like Christmas lights.
