French Onion Soup

Ingredients

1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
4 sliced onions
2 tbsp flour
4 cups broth
1 measuring spoon nutmeg
1 tsp white pepper
3 ½ fl oz white wine
Cheese
Croutons

Steps

Step 1
Have all your ingredients ready and let’s begin! First, melt the butter, add some oil and sautée the onions.
Step 2
Add flour.
Step 3
Add broth.
Step 4
Season with white pepper and nutmeg.
Step 5
Add white wine.
Step 6
Bring to a boil and cook for another 15 minutes.
Step 7
Cream with a hand blender.
Step 8
Serve with toast and croutons.
