Ingredients

1 diced celery root
2 tsp salt
1 ½ oz butter
1 chopped onion
1 tbsp flour
10 fl oz water
7 fl oz cooking cream

Steps

Step 1
Have all your ingredients ready and let’s begin! Put the diced celery in a pot. Add water until the celery is fully covered, boil until tender.
Step 2
Melt butter in a pan and braise onions in it.
Step 3
Mix in the flour.
Step 4
Add water to it and cook until thick.
Step 5
Add the thickening to the softened celery and boil for a few minutes.
Step 6
Use a hand blender to blend through the soup until creamy.
Step 7
Add cooking cream.
