Start off by making the 6 cake layers. Each cake layer is made out of 2 egg yolks, 2 egg whites, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp flour and half a packet of baking powder. Firstly, you will have to whisk together the egg yolks with the sugar, until everything is fully mixed.

Start the glaze. Heat up the granulated sugar in a pot and allow it to melt. Watch out while heating it, as the hot sugar can create serious burns on your skin.

When it has melted, quickly pour the glaze over the 6th cake layer. Make sure it is spread everywhere with a knife. Then using your knife create slices in the glaze, according to how you’d like to decorate your cake with them. You might have to push in your knife a few times into the glaze, in order to make sure that you have separated the glaze into proper slices. Then cut them up into slices.

Now, you are able to decorate the top of your cake with the cut, glazed slices.

Decorate it further if you’d like, by piping chocolate cream onto the cake.
