Ingredients

4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
3 ½ cups flour
4 level tsp baking powder
1 ⅓ cup buttermilk
3 oz coconut flakes
7 oz cream

Steps

Step 1
Buttermilk Cake recipe: Preparing the Buttermilk Cake is simple! First, mix eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar, combine thorough with a hand blender.
Step 2
In case you couldn’t buy buttermilk, you can easy prepare it at home. All you need is 1 cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of vinegar, combine them and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3
While the buttermilk is getting ready, mix flour and baking powder.
Step 4
Add the flour mixture to the egg one, then add the buttermilk.
Step 5
Stir carefully, then spread it in a buttered pan.
Step 6
Sprinkle the top with coconut flakes. Bake at 360 degrees F for 20 minutes.
