Start by making the cake dough. Combine the butter and the egg yolks with a hand mixer.
Add the flour and the active dry yeast (that has previously been mixed together with warm water) to the dough. Knead the dough by hand until smooth.
For the filling, combine the cottage cheese with the sugar, until it creates a fluffy texture. Fold in the sultanas and the already whipped egg whites to the cottage cheese mixture.
Place half of the dough on your cake tin before spreading the filling over it.
Place the other half of the dough on top of the filling, then attach the edges of the top and bottom dough to each other.
Bake for 40 minutes at 320°F and take it out of the cake tin, while it’s still hot! Sprinkle powdered sugar over it and you’re ready to serve!
