Start off with the dough. Mix together the egg yolks, powdered sugar, butter, rum and vanilla sugar.

Fold in the whipped egg whites.

Then add the flour and baking powder, incorporate them fully.

Line your baking pan with baking paper. Pour the batter into it and spread it evenly, then sprinkle the ground walnuts over the top. Bake it for 25 minutes at 355°F.

After it has baked, it’s time to cut out your cookies, making half-moon shapes. Then you’re ready to serve them!
