Lentil soup recipe: Preparing the Lentil soup is simple! First, add the lentils, carrots, turnips and celery in a pot in some water. Bring to a boil.

Next, add the bay leaves, salt and pepper.

Cover the pot with a lid so the vegetables get tender.

Make thickening from the oil and flour. When ready, add pepper powder and finely chopped onions to it. Then add some water and add the mixture to the boiling soup.

Add sliced smoked sausages.

Serve with or without sour cream.
