Ingredients

2 1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup water
Gelatin mixture:
5-6 tbsp water
2 1/3 tsp gelatin powder
Coating:
Powdered sugar

Marshmallows recipe: Preparing Marshmallows is easy! Pour water in a large pot, and melt sugar in it on slow fire while continuously stirring.
Step 3
Stir the water while it begins to boil. Make sure that you constantly check the temperature of the water with a kitchen thermometer! Heat the syrup to 230-240°F, then remove it from the heat.
Step 4
Prepare the gelatin mixture, pour it into a larger (heatproof) bowl and mix it with the hot syrup.
Step 5
Beat the marshmallow base at a slow speed. Make sure you mix the gelatin and the syrup under constant, slow stirring! The base is good when it becomes light, yet sticky and foamy.
Step 6
Line a square-shaped baking form with parchment paper, and pour the marshmallow base in it. Spread the base evenly, then let it rest in a cool place (but not too cool).
Step 7
When the marshmallow’s stiff enough to your taste, remove the parchment paper, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 8
Slice the marshmallow into small squares and it’s ready to serve! Easy, right?
