Whip up the egg whites along with the sugar, then mix in the egg yolks. 
Mix the punch flavoured pudding powder together with the baking powder and carefully mix into the egg mixture. 
Pour the sponge batter into a buttered loaf tin and bake for 10 minutes at 355°F.
Using the same instructions, make the exact same sponge batter, except instead of adding punch flavoured pudding powder to it add 4 tbsp of flour.
Spread the batter out evenly on a large baking tray which is lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes at 180°F. 
Cut the sponge that was baked in the loaf tin into two, then gently cut its sides as well which will give them a similar look like orange slices. 
Cook the pudding. After it has cooled down, mix butter into it to create a fluffy cream. Spread the cream on the sides of the slices before pressing the slices next to each other.
Spread the leftover cream all over the outer layer of the cake.
Cut the plain sponge into slices and place them on the orange sponge. Let it rest overnight.
