Ingredients

For the dumplings
1 lb crushed, cooked potatoes
8 oz wheat flour
1 whole egg
1 pinch of salt
1-2 tbsp sugar/cane sugar
1 tsp butter
For the breading:
⅔ cup breadcrumbs
½ tbsp oil

Steps

Step 1
Potato dumplings recipe: Preparing the Potato dumplings is simple! First, combine the precooked, crushed potatoes with salt, butter, flour and eggs.
Step 2
Flatten the dough and cut into 1 inch strips.
Step 3
Roll up the strips and cut into evenly sized pieces.
Step 4
Cook the dumplings in hot water.
Step 5
Roast the breadcrumbs in some oil, then bathe the dumplings in it.
