Snickers recipe: Preparing Snickers is easy! Line a baking form with plastic wrap, then pour in 5 1/3 oz melted milk chocolate to create the shell of the chocolate bar. Put it in the fridge and let it set.
For the caramel layer, pour granulated sugar, glucose powder, whipping cream and water into a larger saucepan and melt it on high flame.
Use a large saucepan, since the foam can run out easily while boiling. Heat it to 230-240°F.
Remove the caramel from the heat and add the peanuts to it.
Pour the caramel-peanut mixture into the stiff chocolate shell, and put it back in the fridge to set.
For the nougat layer, pour the granulated sugar, glucose powder and water into a large saucepan and melt it on high heat, while constantly stirring.
Heat the syrup to 285-290°F.
In the meantime, beat the egg whites with vanilla sugar and salt, until it turns into a light foam.
Pour the hot syrup into the egg cream, while constantly blending. Blend it at maximum speed, until it becomes a heavy, sticky nougat.
When the cream is fully mixed, add chopped peanuts to it.
Pour it on top of the caramel layer and leave it to set in the fridge.
When it hardens, cover the top with 5 1/3 oz melted milk chocolate. This will be the bottom of the Snickers after it’s turned over.
When the chocolate layer hardens, remove the Snickers from the baking form, turn it over, and remove the plastic wrap as well. Cover it with 10 1/2 oz melted milk chocolate. Use a spoon to form the top (lift a small amount of chocolate with the bottom of the spoon, then let it pour back). Let it set, and it’s ready to serve!
