Mix together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add the water, lemon juice and oil. Mix everything together well, to get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a cake pan and place apple slices on its top.
Bake it for 25-30 minutes at 355°F.
You can either cut it up while it’s still hot or wait for it to cool down before serving.
