The Yeast dumplings with jam filling is a traditional Hungarian dessert. It has an amazing light dough filled with jam!
Have all your ingredients ready and let’s begin! First, risen the yeast in milk and sugar.
Combine flour with yeast, eggs, melted cheese and a pinch of salt.
Let it rise for an hour in a warm place.
Flatten the dough.
Cut into equally sized squares.
Spread oven proof jam in the middle.
Fold the sides.
Roll the dough.
Place the dumplings in a buttered pan and let them rise for 30 minutes.
Brush the top with egg.
Bake at 360 degrees F for 25 minutes.
