Ingredients

6 1/5 oz brown sugar
4/5 cups oil
3 eggs
5 oz grated carrots
3 1/2 raisins
Grated zest of an orange
6 1/5 oz flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
For the frosting:
6 1/5 oz icing sugar
1-2 tbsp orange juice

Steps

Step 1
Yummy Carrot Cake recipe: Preparing the Yummy Carrot Cake is easy! First, combine eggs and sugar in a larger bowl with oil.
Step 2
Add raisins, grated carrots and grated zest of an orange, mix well.
Step 3
Then add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and nutmeg, mix well.
Step 4
Pour the batter in a buttered and floured pan.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 40-45 minutes. Let the cake cool down.
Step 6
Mix icing sugar and orange juice, add on top of the cake and you’re ready to serve.
