Roll out the pie dough and place it in a pie tin. Prick it all over with a fork. Put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C.

Move onto the vanilla filling. Combine the flour, the butter, the eggs, the vanilla aroma and the white sugar in a large mixing bowl.

Mix until dense, not fluffy.

Wash the fruit, and then cut them up into thin slices.

Don’t separate the apple slices from each other. Instead use your hands and with a precise stroke, flatten the apples over each other, like you would with a pack of cards. This way you will form a fan.

Now all you need to do is put the pie together. Pour the vanilla mixture into the pie. Then place your fruit slices into the crust as well. Bake it for 30 minutes at 180°C.

Serve while it’s still hot with some ice-cream!
