Start by carefully cutting a slit inside one of the olives. Be careful not to cut it in half, because the mozzarella will go into this, and this will become the flippers of your penguin.
Pierce the other olive onto the toothpick in a horizontal position, then put the mozzarella balls inside the cut olive and also place it on the toothpick.
Cut a small triangle out of a carrot slice, which will be the feet and beak of the penguin. Make sure that the carrot slice is symmetrical because this will give stability to the penguin and allow it to stand.
Put the feet on the toothpick and the beak into the hole of the pitted olive.
When you are done, the next thing to do is the scarf of the penguin. A thin slice of bacon or ham is probably best for this, which you have to carefully put around the neck of the penguin.
